FAQ

We love the photography! What’s the next step?

Please give send us an email or give us a call so we can learn more about the wedding you’re planning and help you choose a package. We’re happy to go over details on the phone, through email, or in person.

What if we want to customize a package?

We are happy to create a custom quote for you. We understand that couples have different needs and we’re happy to accomodate you.

How many final images will I receive from my wedding day?

This number varies from wedding to wedding. We estimate that you’ll receive 75 final edited images per hour of wedding day coverage. We are continuously taking photographs during the day so we don’t miss anything. If we have more than 700 images that are an important part of telling the story of your wedding we deliver them to you.

Are we able to make reprints from the digital images you give us?

Definitely. The images are in high resolution and are not watermarked. You are welcome to make reprints for your personal use.

Are the images edited and retouched?

After the wedding we back up all of your RAW files and archive them. Then we edit out our test shots, blinks, duplicates etc – down to the best images from the day. We color correct and check the exposure on every image. You will receive high resolution JPG files that are in color as well as some in black and white. We pride ourselves on getting things right out of the camera and pay a lot of attention to detail. However, all of your album images and prints ordered through the studio are meticulously individually retouched.

How long does it take to receive our images after the wedding?

Wedding images are fully edited and online within 4 weeks from the wedding date.  Album design is ready within one month after your album photo selections have been made. After final approval of album design, turn-around time varies depending on how busy the binding company is but typically takes 1-2 months.

Do you bring back up gear and are you insured?

Absolutely. We bring back up cameras, lenses, media cards etc. In case something goes down, we have replacement items with us. We are insured and happy to provide the proper documentation if your venue requires it.

What is your general method or style of taking photographs?

We capture your wedding day as it truly happens. We love details, candids of guests, and capturing the way your wedding feels. We “set up” family and wedding party photographs but in a natural way. While we are taking the bride & groom’s photos we give direction and use  lighting and technical expertise to put you in the right place at the right time, but  allow you to be you and just enjoy those moments together so we can capture natural feeling images.
